About Us
The creator of the wastewater.cloud system is the company Scieki Poiskie – a provider of modern IT solutions for all entities involved in the circulation of liquid waste, from its generation, through transport, to purification.
Scieki Polskie was the first company in Poland to introduce a fully digitized flow of information about wastewater transported from non-sewered areas, recognizing the need for digitization in this sector of municipal economy. Our IT tools respond to the growing need to build an effective model of control and sealing of the circulation of liquid waste.
Awards
- November 2023 – winner of the 3W StartUp Showdown competition in Warsaw
- February 2024 – 1st place in the Technology category of the Ecological Plebiscite organized by Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw
In Poland, there is still a huge disparity between the water consumed by residents and the amount of wastewater discharged into treatment plants. An analysis of data published in the first half of 2022 by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) shows that nearly 93% of waste from septic tanks and domestic sewage treatment plants leaks outside the system. Therefore, approximately 365 million cubic meters of untreated wastewater are directly discharged into the environment annually.
